Gvaryahu traces the organized opposition and legal campaign against the book by a Coalition of fourteen non-profit organizations from a wide spectrum of orthodox, conservative and secular backgrounds. The Coalition, Brit Hoshech LeGaresh, has succeeded in facilitating a police investigation against the authors, Rabbis Shapira and Elizur and bringing the issue to the forefront of public awareness.
