Tzori" is the Hebrew word for persimmon resin, an ancient balm that was though to bring calm and serenity to the soul and the body. "Tzori" strives to bring some peace of mind and serenity to children and adolescents with special needs and their family.

"Tzori" is an organization that was founded by families from the Rechovot area in Israel who have children with severe learning and behavioral disabilities.

These children suffer from severe problems in many areas. These include: behavior problems, extremely poor judgment, obsessive and impulsive behavior and social and emotional disorders. The children and their families find it increasingly difficult to function and many of them are on the verge of collapse.

"Tzori" was founded due to an acute shortage of welfare and educational communal resources for these children in the Rechovot and surrounding areas. The goal of our organization is to offer these children and their families, professional after-school facilities that will cater to their special needs, and suitable tools to help them with their ongoing struggle with everyday life.
